Day 17 – mat & reformer double header with Pippa

Day 17 – this evening I attended back to back classes at my work’s South Perth studio with the lovely Pippa Hutchinson, director of LIVe Pilates. First up was a group reformer class. When I walked in Chael, one of our other amazing instructors, starting laughing. I soon realised the reason for her amusement. I was the 5th Pilates instructor to be doing this class (out of 9!) This speaks volumes for the quality of Pippa’s classes and respect she has among her peers. Ofcourse the class was excellent though demanding, technical but fun. Pippa balances things beautifully.

Next up was a mat class with some foam roller work thrown in. As always there was a few variations I hadn’t done before such as swan dive with the roller and knee stretches with the roller. I somehow never tire of learning new exercises. I only hope my brain doesn’t work like Homer Simpson’, with new information pushing out the old. “Marge remember that time I took the home wine making course and then forgot how to drive.”
