Day 16 – using the v2max with Chael

Day 16 – today I had another private session with Chael at LIVe Pilates Applecross. We spent quite a lot of the time using the v2max, a combined reformer and cadillac from Stott Pilates.

You can not only do a most of the reformer and cadillac repertoire (it comes with a mat extender to turn it into a cadillac) but there is a range of additional repertoire that takes advantage of the combination of the two pieces of equipment.

I did a variation of thigh stretch using the tower bar, and also some variations of footwork using the extension straps around thighs. There is so much you could do on this piece of equipment it really makes you realise the possibilities with Pilates are just limitless. So many exercises, so little time!
