Day 13 – private studio session with Polestar educator Audredy

Day 13 – today I had a one on one session with Audrey, Principle Instructor for Polestar Pilates. It was the first time I had seen her since she instructed part of my Polestar Pilates rehabilitation course in Sydney back in 2009. It was great to see her again and see her lovely light filled studio in West Perth, Performance Pilates and Physiotherapy.

It was great to have my first class taught by a Polestar instructor for the year, as I consider this my ‘first language’ of Pilates. Just like how I love travelling but always enjoy that relaxed feeling and familiarity of coming home. I love trying all types and styles of Pilates (and in fact that is a big part of what this resolution is about for me) but I find something very soothing, natural and comfortable about doing Polestar based Pilates. Like I’m at home.
